James Rhea, Terry, and Jeannine at the State Fair in Shreveport.

The cutie in the middle is one of my all-time favorite people.  That's Terry.

Terry is l0 years younger than James Rhea and I.  We used to take him with us a lot.

He is now a Methodist preacher...lives in Monroe.    Jeannine

3faircoach53 - Sarepta fair princess; The float was behind Minden in the parade.  Can anyone

identify the princess and the children in the picture?

1faircoach53 - The coach was Cinderella's Coach...My cousin, Dorothy Jean Hunter was Fair Princess that year. It was 1952. I was a member of the committee that  built and painted the coach...Homecoming Queen for 1952 was Sally Ware and Homecoming Sweetheart was Sandra Gray.

Carousel 53

The girl riding the carousel looks like Edna Lowe to me.  Yes, I do remember the 9 cent rides, but it never did take much money for me to go to the fair, as I was a "chicken" when it came to the rides.
Carolyn Sale McDaniel (Class 54)

Fair Awards 53 Billie Sue Brooks was our Fair Princess that year

Governor Kennon attended the Fair.
